Viral Antigens, Inc. has been a trusted supplier of complex biological materials for over 20 years in its Memphis, Tennessee facility. VAI occupies 30,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space. Our manufacturing facility enables us to monitor and segregate the production of the various viral antigens from cell culture to purified final product. We also have the capabilities to manufacture complete test kits for the veterinary market.

The protein chemistry laboratory is equipped to allow us to produce highly purified viral antigens both native and recombinant. In addition to our viral antigen production facility, we have space dedicated for research and development of new products; staffed with virologist, cell biologist, biochemist and microbiologist. These scientists are committed to producing innovative, high quality products for emerging markets.

Our 30,000 sq. ft. facility includes 2,500 sq. ft. of dedicated cGMP / CBER space for the production of biopharmaceuticals. The cGMP facility contains class 10,000 support areas with dedicated HVAC systems and equipment. We have the ability to start with a traceable cell line or DNA sequence and produce recombinant proteins in our dedicated Eukaryotic or Prokaryotic suites. The Eukaryotic suite has a culture capacity up to 100 liters per run using disposable bioreactors. The Prokaryotic suite has a culture capacity of 12 liters per batch.
